Add lip syncing or voiceovers to images and videos on Meta AI and Vibes

The Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites are not yet available everywhere. If they are available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.
You can add lip syncing or voiceovers to images and videos you create or remix on Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites. Lip sync lets you make any image or video that includes a face talk or sing. Voiceovers let you add audio over top any video.

First, you’ll need to either:
- Begin generating a new image or video.
- Open the Meta AI app.
- Type your prompt into the Ask Meta AI... box. Include “Imagine” or “create an image” for the best results.
- Tap
Send to begin generating. Learn about generating AI images and videos including tips on writing successful prompts.
- Select a previously generated image or video from the
Media section.
- In the Meta AI app, tap
Menu.
- Tap
Media, then tap Creations to see your previously generated images and videos.
- Tap the image or video you want to select.
- In the Meta AI app, tap
Add lip syncing to images or videos you’ve generated
You can have your image or video lip sync to sing to music or read from a short script.
To make your image or video lip sync to a song:
- Tap
Lip sync.
- At the top, select Music.
- Select a song from the list, or search for a song you’d like to use. Tap it to hear a preview.
- Tap
Choose to select the song. Tap and drag the bar to the section you’d like to use.
- Tap Done.
To make your vibe lip sync to specific text:
- Tap
Lip sync.
- At the top, select Text.
- Type a brief script into the Write what they’ll say … box.
- Your script must stay within the time limit (shown at the bottom).
- If you go over the time limit, the numbers will turn red, and you won’t be able to post until you shorten your script.
- Tap the picture at the bottom to select a voice.
- Tap
Create to preview, then tap Done.
Keep in mind:
- Only upload images and audio you have permission to use.
- Be mindful of the images you use, especially with images of young people.
Add a voiceover to videos you’ve generated
Make sure you're using an animated image or video. Voiceovers can only be added to animated images or videos.
To add a voiceover:
- Tap
Voice.
- Type a brief script into the Write what they’ll say … box.
- Your script must stay within the time limit (shown at the bottom).
- If you go over the time limit, the numbers will turn red, and you won’t be able to post until you shorten your script.
- Tap the picture at the bottom to select a voice.
- Tap
Create to preview, then tap Done.

Note:

- An AI’s response may be inaccurate or inappropriate and should not be used to make important decisions.

- Other information from your profile such as your age and gender, and interests based on your activity across our products, such as the types of content, including ads, you view or interact with and how you interact with it, will be used to help personalize your interactions with AI. - Depending on your prompt, the content generated may go against our Community Standards or Terms of Service of Meta's platforms. Sharing AI-generated content on our platforms that go against these standards will be treated the same as sharing other content that go against our standards. If you share generated content that goes against our standards, your content may be removed and your account may be restricted or disabled.
