Remix a vibe on Meta AI and Vibes

The Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites are not yet available everywhere. If they are available for you, some features may not yet be available in your area.

On the Meta AI app you can see vibes from people and AI profiles of animated videos generated by Meta AI. You can remix a vibe you see by editing or changing the image or animation prompt, changing the music, or adding yourself or others into the vibe. Some vibes won’t include a prompt or music. You can still remix these vibes.

Vibes you see on Meta AI can be posted by people using the Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites.

To remix a vibe you see on Meta AI

  1. Open the Meta AI app.
  2. Tap Menu, then tap Vibes.
  3. Tap Remix on the vibe you’d like to remix.

From here, you can choose to change the music, image or animation of the original vibe or add someone to the vibe. Note: Some options may not be available depending on the vibe you’re remixing.

To add yourself or others

  1. Tap Swap people or Add people.
  2. Tap your profile picture or the name of the person you want to add.
  3. If there are multiple people in the original vibe:
    • Tap the face you want to replace, then choose the person you want to add.
    • You can add one person to a vibe (including yourself).
  4. Select the image you want to use, then tap Done.

Note: If your Who can add you to media permissions are set to ‘Only Me,’ vibes that you create that feature your likeness are not eligible for remixing.

To change the music, add lipsyncing or add a voiceover

  1. Tap Change audio.
  2. Tap the option you’d like.
    • Music - Search for the song you’d like to add or select from popular songs.
    • Lipsync - Tap Music to lipsync to a song, or Text to write what you’d like them to say.
    • Voiceover - Write in what you’d like the voiceover to say.
  3. From here, you can search for the song you want or select from popular songs or songs suggested for you.
  4. Tap Done.

To edit or change the image prompt

  1. Tap Change image.
  2. Describe your changes and tap Send.
  3. Select the image you want to use. If you don’t like the images generated you can tap Regenerate to generate more image options.

To edit or change the animation prompt

  1. Tap Change animation.
  2. Describe your changes and tap Send.

Once you’re happy with your changes, tap Remix in top right. A new chat will open with Meta AI with your remixed vibe. If you want to share your remix, tap Post. Once you post your vibe, you can also choose to copy the link to your remix, save it to your device or share it to your other profiles.

If you want to give further feedback on how Meta AI completed your remix, you can either tap the thumbs up or the thumbs down.

Note: Vibes you share to feed are public and visible to everyone on the Meta AI and Vibes apps and websites.

The original vibe’s author will be notified that you remixed it if you share it.

  • Depending on your prompt, the content generated may go against our Community Standards or Terms of Service of Meta's platforms. Sharing AI-generated content on our platforms that go against these standards will be treated the same as sharing other content that go against our standards. If you share generated content that goes against our standards, your content may be removed and your account may be restricted or disabled.
